Anaesthesia Associates is a group of 21Christchurch anaesthetists who share rooms and support staff.

We provide a full range of perioperative services including facilities for preoperative assessment Within the group we can cater for a wide range of sub specialities including paediatric and cardiac anaesthesia and acute and chronic pain management.

For anaesthetists we provide billing and rostering services based from our rooms in Christchurch. We welcome approaches to use our services, both from anaesthetists in Christchurch and also from other centres in New Zealand.

Anaesthesia Costs and Estimates

We have two permanent office staff, Dawn Hack and Maree Tizzard, who will be happy to assist you with any queries concerning your surgery or account. We will happily provide verbal estimates for anaesthesia costs. The cost of anaesthesia services varies with type of operation, length of surgery and your state of health, so the accuracy of any estimate will largely depend on your surgeon having given you a reasonable indication of surgical time.
